You are in complete control when you are the one doing the work.

If you hire a contractor to do the job, then you will only have to put up with the clutter and confusion for a couple of weeks, so this is something you may want to think about. If you can’t handle your kitchen being upside down, then you may want to think about hiring a contractor.
